The Sacramento Metropolitan Cable Television Commission (Commission) is the joint powers agency responsible for issues related to cable television/video State franchises in Sacramento County, California. The member agencies of the Commission include the County of Sacramento and the Cities of Sacramento, Galt, Folsom, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova and Elk Grove.
The Commission's regular Board of Directors meetings are scheduled quarterly in March, June, September, and December. Meetings begin at 2:30 p.m. and are held at the County of Sacramento's Board Chambers located at 700 H Street in Sacramento.
Board meeting agendas and cancellation notices are posted at least 72 hours in advance of a scheduled meeting in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act.
Board meetings are livestreamed at metro14live.saccounty.gov and broadcast LIVE on Metro Cable 14, the local government affairs channel, available to customers of AT&T U-Verse, Comcast, and Consolidated Communications.
