The Regional Human Rights/Fair Housing Commission was established in 1975 to address fair housing and human rights in Sacramento County. Pursuant to the Amended Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement, the County of Sacramento and the City of Sacramento agreed to wind down the affairs of the Commission and move to a contract model for fair housing services.
