ASSESSMENT APPEALS BOARD The purpose of this board is to hear and decide property tax assessment appeals. Qualifications: A person shall not be eligible for nomination unless he has a minimum of five years of professional experience in the State of California as one of the following: Certified Public Accountant or Public Accountant, Licensed Real Estate Broker, Attorney, or Property Appraiser accredited by a nationally recognized professional organization. There are THREE member seats to be filled due to the expiring terms of D. Gau; L. Meyers; and T. Chan; all of whom are eligible for reappointment upon receipt of a new application. The application filing period will be from 7/28/25 to 8/8/25 and will be considered by the Board of Supervisors on 8/19/25.
