BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS The purpose of this board is to hear and decide building appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the Building Official relative to the application and interpretation of technical codes and advise the Board of Supervisors of changes to the Building Code. Qualifications – This board shall consist of members who are qualified by experience and training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction. Appointments shall not be employees of the jurisdiction and shall consist of members who are qualified and specifically knowledgeable in the California Building Standards Code and applicable local codes and ordinances.
