ASSESSMENT APPEALS BOARD The purpose of this board is to hear and decide property tax assessment appeals. Qualifications: A person shall not be eligible for nomination unless he has a minimum of five years of professional experience in the State of California as one of the following: Certified Public Accountant or Public Accountant, Licensed Real Estate Broker, Attorney, or Property Appraiser accredited by a nationally recognized professional organization. There is ONE seat to be filled due to the expiring term of M. Khazari; who is eligible for reappointment upon receipt of a new application. The application filing period will be from 6/15/26 to 6/26/26 and will be considered by the Board of Supervisors on 7/14/26.
