The Board of Appeals is legally empowered to investigate and determine the suitability of alternate materials and types of construction, provide reasonable interpretations of the provisions of the Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical ordinances of the County of Sacramento, or notice in dispute, and recommend new legislation to the Board of Supervisors.
